Family Session- Clinton, SC
Thursday, August 27, 2009

It's always fun to reconnected with friends from your childhood. Seeing Holly and meeting her family has to be one of my highlights of this summer. I think I've known Holly since we were her kids age and it's so awesome to see how she has grown into an amazing mom and wife.  She definately has set the bar high for the rest of us! We decided to have their session on our farm so the kids would have plenty of room to run and have fun. I think we all ended up having a little fun. My personal favorite was Kool-Aid time.

Even Andy got into the playing mood!

Showing off the Grape Kool-aid tongue!

We even took time out to pick flowers for everyone, including Mr. Todd :)

Franck & Sungmi- Day After Session
Friday, August 21, 2009

I had to laugh at the funniness of it all, as we stood out by a two lane highway in the middle of the country. Franck has been studying in Paris and is here for a short visit with his wife, Sungmi. While here they wanted to capture images of them in their wedding finest as they had a civil service in NY, which allowed them no time for a beautiful portrait session. So as we stood there on the side of the road next to the busy highway here was a couple who has traveled the world and seen the beauty of Paris, the "City of Love" named so because of it's beautiful parks and landmarks that makes a great place for lovers to frolic. We all had to laugh at the irony , I told them trust me.  So as we braved the mosquitos and snakes, I think we found the beauty of a country side that allowed our travelers/lovers a place to relax and to frolic. I hpoe you guys love these images as much as I loved taking them!

Nelson & Beth- Day After Session
Thursday, August 13, 2009

I've always heard that when it rains on your wedding day it's God showering his love down upon your marrage and while that thought brings comfort, it makes it a little hard to have outdoor photos on your wedding day. I've know Beth and Nelson for awhile and I remember Beth telling me about how the rain on their wedding day made it hard to get any of the outdoor photos she had so hoped for. So when she asked me to photograph a Day After Session for them I was beyond thrilled. Nothing is more fun than getting all dressed up with out all the worry of geting dirty. Which is a good thing seeing that what showed up on the day of their portrait session? Rain!!! But we braved the little drops of rain at the Cliffs of Keowee and captured some beautiful images for them to remember their speical day.
