Twin's run in our family
Thursday, January 14, 2010

Being a twin, I know how much fun it is to have a built in playmate and best friend for life. So I was super excited when my brother and his wife found out they where having twins. I had to laugh the day he called, half in shock and half in awe, over the prospect of having two at one time. I quickly reminded him that it should be old hat, seeing he has never known life with out twin sisters to torture and love the heck out of him. With that type of resume he should be an awesome twin daddy!

Over the holidays, we had a quick moment to stop and capture their quickly changing lives. With my nephew and neice, I never thought I could love a little one so much, now with two more on the way I feel like my heart is just going to burst with new found love.  Here is quick shot of my brother's growing family!

Joseph & Tricia- Engagement Session
Tuesday, December 15, 2009

What makes me get all giddy inside? A session filled with beautifull light, big huge oak trees and a fabulous couple!

I love this shot as it's sort of a look at the future, seeing it's their wedding location. I'm just in love with big old oak trees.

These next shots where taken at Joseph's family farm. Many thanks to Joseph's sister-in-law, wedding planner and design guru, Amanda, who came up with some great props and ideas for our shoot. Seriously, Amanda has some killer wedding design ideas and I can't wait to see her handy work in the future!

Roxanne & Shane- SC wedding photography
Tuesday, December 08, 2009

Weddings at a bride or groom's childhood home always have this special feel. As you walk around, it reminds one of childhood emotions, laughter from a funny story being told, smiles of a friends enjoying each others company, to tears from overwhelming happiness. But this emotional day had all those things but one special meaning controled them all, Love! The setting was of a simple arbor among a row of young oaks, in the pasture behind her childhood home. With the bright orangy sun setting, guest got a glimps of the view Roxy experienced everyday of her childhood.

Roxy and Shane it was an honor to capture your special day. When you guys are together your friends and family can't help but catch your infectous smiles!

Floral Design- Aria Floral

Event Planning- All in the details

Band- A Social Function

I totally could have taken off with Roxy's little one if he would have just stayed in my camera bag :)

Some of Aria's amazing floral design.

I just love the below picture of Roxy and her cousin Carrie sharing a tender look.

Some more of the amazing florals by Aria.

Okay, I have to admit I fell in love with their band and I think they did too!
